Keren is a performer, director, and activist. At the age of twenty, she left Israel. After eight years in Europe, she feels compelled to return to the conflicts and contradictions she left behind. She joins protests against Netanyahu, volunteers with Palestinian families, and films continuously, even as genocide unfolds before her eyes.
Shot between 2023 and 2025 in Brussels, Israel, and the occupied West Bank, the film is an audiovisual diary of thoughts and images captured in the heat of the moment: a stream of consciousness, and a record of the filmmaker’s internal monologue and moral struggles.
For if the place of one’s birth inflicts so much suffering, where, and more importantly, how, should one live?
